Hey all, i was trying to connect to my zopenspot via the web interface just a while ago via FireFox and it appears that the web UI is down or something. Tried multiple times and got the error message, "Unable to connect. Firefox is unable to connect to the server, please try again later". Made two more attempts getting the same error both times. Is there a server problem or something like, or (hopefully not) a DDoS attack going on somewhere that is affecting things? Tried the following after the second failed attempt, disabled my ad blocker software, unplugged and replugged in my openspot, all with no resolution. What`s going on here, anyone have a thought? Thanx! N9NRA.

Well,it seems ive found the problem here :). Aperently every so often the IP address of the openspot web interface that ya use to manage your openspot is changed, if youre having the problem i did go to the Openspot user manual and try one of the links mentioned there. That should work, it did for me. Thanx for any help in advance folks! N9NRA

Yes, it will change if you reboot your router or the lease on the IP expires. You could set it to grab the same IP address, you just have to configure it with a static and make sure its in the range of addresses your router supports, but not one that DHCP would issue to another device.

You should also be able to go directly to your openspot web interface by entering "openspot.local" into a browser on the same LAN. This should avoid you always having to know the assigned IP address.
