Is there a way to bring up a dynamic talkgroup without kerchunking everyone else on it? Our DMR repeater doesn't have much traffic on it, so sometimes I like to monitor other talkgroups just to see what's going on elsewhere. If possible I don't want to bother others by kerchunking them when I first bring it up though.

I was finally able to figure it out. If I select the dynamic talkgroup from my contacts list and bump my PTT, it initiates a private call to that talkgroup and starts the 15 minute timer. It doesn't actually key up the talkgroup in the process. I verified this by using the last heard feature here on the website. If I use the method described above, my call doesn't show up. If I do a test transmission on the talkgroup then it does. Thanks for taking the time to reply though.

No, that is how dmr works. The only way around that would be to set it as static on the bm portal and then turn off the static when you are done listening.
