I believe that the Talk Groups 440 is assigned for Japan, however, I found the group are used by UK. such as "hose.brandmeister.network/4400" is named United Kingdom. Why there are UK city name under Japan Group while UK has been assigned for "234/235"??

Could you advise how I can register the Japan city name under JAPAN group (440)?

Many thanks for the manual of registration.

Based on the DMR-MARC Network, the repeater numbering has been classified and Japan is assigned from 4400 -4409. http://www.dmr-marc.net/FAQ/GSM-ID.html

My question is; on Hoseline menu: "explore" tab, when I selected Japan from Country tab (http://hose.brandmeister.network/expl...), "440 (http://hose.brandmeister.network/4400/)" is shown under "Explore Talk Groups by country Japan".

However,

"Talk Groups" tab, when I look up Japan flag, the description shows "United Kingdom" , and again I reach the same page as "Explore" tab (http://hose.brandmeister.network/4400/). The Flag does not match the description on talk Groups!

Moreover, the description under Explore tab does not match description under Talk Groups!

BM does not follow the DMR-MARC numbering, So do not mix them up. I have looked and I can not find Japan listed on BM Talk Groups https://brandmeister.network/?page=talkgroups Also no mention in the wiki or Master https://wiki.brandmeister.network/index.php/Main_Page

Thanks for the comment. If BM does not follow DMR-MARC numbering, what is BM numbering scheme I can follow? I am trying to start a Japan Talk Group with right numbering step. Under the country search of Explore tab in BM, Japan does go to "4400" page.

Uk 4400 etc is a Reflector number not a Talk group number

http://registry.dstar.su/dmr/reflecto...

Reflectors are linked to Talk Groups as shown in the link above.

**

Time Slot 2 implements the use of reflectors similar to the D-star network.

The way to use the reflector is to program your radio with Talk Group 9 in Time Slot 2. (Add 9 in contact as GROUP. Make a Channel up for TG9. Add to Zone) This is the only Talk group you will need for a QSO on the reflector.

To link and unlink the reflector.

Do a Manual Dial - Go to Menu - Contact - Manual Dial - enter reflector number 4xxx - transmit for 1 second. The repeater should respond with a voice announcement, "Connect to reflector 4xxx". Then go back to Talk Group 9 to make a QSO.

or

Program the radio with the Reflector number as a PRIVATE call in contacts.

To link to a reflector. Select the reflector number from the contacts list and transmit for about 1 second. The repeater should respond with a voice announcement, "Connect to reflector 4xxx". Then go back to Talk Group 9 to make a QSO.

To unlink select 4000 from the contacts list, transmit for about 1 second, and you should hear a voice announcement "Reflector Disconnected".

To enquire about the reflector link status call 5000, and the repeater will respond with the currently linked reflector.
