I have an Openspot and just in the last few days I find that I have been disconnected. I keyed up 3148 and was listening to the Texas net tonight and was disconnect after 15 min. So I connected again and 15 mins later it did it again. I thought it might be an OpenSpot trouble because I just updated to FW 102 but when I looked in the forums I found this.

This is a BrandMeister issue. openSPOT just forwards calls and does not know which talkgroup is linked. The linked talkgroups list on the status page and in the voice announcement is queried from BrandMeister's API - what the API returns gets displayed

Is this something that Brandmeister is working on?

Sounds like you are listening to 3148 as a "dynamic" talkgroup. Try going to the BrandMeister Dashboard, and setting 3148 as "static". See if this solves your problem.

I don't want it as a Static. I just want to connect to a talk group and disconnect it after I am done. Never had this trouble before. Now no matter what TG I connect to it will disconnect after about 15 min. Something has changed. Trying to find out why and if it can be fixed?

Only time I have seen this happen was when the ID in the OpenSpot was set as a repeater ID rather than a personal 7 Dig number.

Also worth looking in the OpenSpot settings and make sure you have not set a TG as a revert back to after 15mins.
