I would like to set a gateway from dmr to zello walkie talkie app for mobile phone users. I have sent a email asking if i can get a talkgroup number and asking for permission to do this. For myself and other amateur radio members of the world wide amateur radio group on zello to use from a smart phone

Using Zello to communicate to & from DMR networks is absurd.

In order to use the DMR, everybody is required to be a licensed HAM OP and to be assigned a valid DMR ID. Plus, I am not even sure if it is possible to link two completely different standards and protocols...

Doing that (simply said, forwarding the traffic bidirectionally between Zello & DMR) could even be forbidden and/or illegal in most of the countries, whatsoever.

There are examples of people linking Echolink users to the UHF repeaters, but rules might be rather different regarding this matter.

I'd recommend you speak to your country's HAM radio officials regarding the broadcasting laws or something like that, and of course with the Brandmeister about this.
